You might need to loosen the straps a bit so that your child can lean to one side. We recommend that you always sit down while nursing with a baby carrier. 

Yes, carrying your child in a baby carrier such as Baby Carrier Miracle, where he/she is upright, can alleviate temporary stomach problems. Being carried, feeling the closeness and safety of mom or dad, may also have a soothing effect on your child. 

For maximum comfort for baby and the person carrying:
1. Begin by adjusting the baby carrier to the child’s size (length). Follow the size instructions on the inside of the baby carrier to find the right fit. 
2. Put on the vest and snap it onto the baby carrier’s front by fastening the double buckle. This is securely locked in place when you hear separate clicks from the left and right clip.
3. Remember that you can choose how high you wish to carry your child by adjusting how high you place the support belt. Small children are often carried higher than somewhat older children. However, take your cue from your child and what you yourself find most comfortable. 

Baby Carrier Miracle is easily adjusted as your child grows. On the inside of the baby carrier’s front you will find instructions and an adjustment label (the size/length measures are approximate). Set the buckle to your child’s length (height). For safety reasons, the buckle is supposed to be a bit stiff to adjust. 

The head support, which should be used until the child’s neck muscles are strong enough to stably hold up his/her head, is adjusted by tightening or loosening the short bands on each side of the top of the baby carrier. Make sure there is enough room around your child’s head for the free passage of air.

Adjust the support belt by pulling on the lower straps. To center the baby carrier, make sure the straps are the same length. Regulate the distribution of weight by moving the back support up or down and loosening or tightening the shoulder straps. You can even adjust the back support while wearing the baby carrier by pushing the support upwards or pulling it downwards. If you pull down on the back support and loosen the shoulder straps, you will distribute more weight onto your hips and very little, if any, weight onto your back and shoulders.

The leg straps make the leg openings smaller and should be used when your child weighs between 8 lbs/3.5 kg and 10 lbs/4.5 kg. Fasten the loops, found on the vest just above the support belt’s buckle, onto the large buttons at the front of the baby carrier.

This means that they are free from health-hazardous substances and allergens.So you won’t have to wash the baby carrier all too often, it’s a good idea to use a BABYBJÖRN Bib for Baby Carrier (also Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1).

The baby carrier should be machine-washed, warm (104°F/40°C). Wash separately, using a gentle, bleach-free detergent. Do not tumble dry.
